Job Function

The role of the Senior Accountant of the accounting team is to support the tax and accounting engagements, from start to finish, i.e. planning, executing, and delivering to the team’s Accounting Manager, following the tax practice guidelines in the most effective and efficient manner.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide bookkeeping and compliance services as part of our outsourcing team or independently
• Ensure quality standards and processes are met to all accounting and bookkeeping assignments
• Consult with colleagues and Partners on technical and risk matters

A predominant amount of time will be spent off-site at clients’ premises.

Personal Specifications and Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting with a specialization in tax professional qualification
• More than 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience. Work experience gained in a similar role- ideally in a consulting firm or a large accounting office will be considered a strong asset
• Experience in Payroll outsourcing services will be considered as a strong asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, especially Excel, exposure to any Accounting Package, and up-to-date technical knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills (both in Greek and English)
