Overview

Due to our continuing expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit experienced Auditors who have experience in the insurance sector or/and industry, to act in charge of the audits and oversee the work performed by junior members of staff to ensure that the work done is in accordance with the BDO Audit Methodology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and oversee the work performed by junior members of staff to ensure that the work done is in accordance with the BDO Audit Methodology.
• Monitor the progress of the engagement team against the plan and alter it when needed.
• Assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of all areas of the audit assignment for manager or partner review, seeking input for areas of concern and judgment.
• Produce quality client correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.

A predominant amount of time will be spent off-site at clients’ premises.

Requirements

Potential candidates should fulfill the following criteria:

• Minimum 2-3 years of solid work experience in audit firms.
• Proven experience and knowledge in the insurance sector will be considered a strong asset.
• Registered to SOEL records.
• Holders or in the process of acquiring a professional qualification (JES, ACCA, ACA).
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral English, Proficiency or equivalent.
• Strong personality with excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to always represent the Firm in a professional manner through punctuality, appearance, and presentation.
